Building a relaxing brand & website for a new bed & breakfast in Anchorage, AK
SunStar Alaska is a bed and breakfast located in the heart of Anchorage, surrounded by wildlife, trails, and a short drive from lots of state parks. I worked with Sondra to ensure that her brand captured the essence of Hygge, which by definition means "the pursuit of everyday happiness, like a hug without the physical touch".

Once we finished creating SunStar's brand identity, we began to push forward with designing their website. Through competitor research, wireframes, and mockups we were able to piece the site together. Below you can see a sample of the wireframes for a few pages compared to the high-fi mockups.
This project was on a very tight timeline, and is still in progress. We have been working on a slow release as they add more services to the B&B and as we gather more photos.
